Jaclyn began her studies in Conducting with Howard Williams at the Royal College of Music in London, before going on to be a graduate of both the Glover-Edwards Conducting Programme at the Royal Academy of Music, and the London Conducting Academy.

In addition to holding the post of Chief Conductor of the Biggin Hill Concert Band, she is Chief Conductor of the Sinfonia @ The Viaduct, and Assistant Conductor of the Amadeus Symphony Orchestra. She has also received a personal invitation from Maestro Kazuki Yamada to shadow him during rehearsals with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra.

Having originally trained as a cellist - studying at cello at both the Leopold Mozart Zentrum der Universität Augsburg and the Royal College of Music - Jaclyn read Music at Trinity College Cambridge where she worked with a vast array of professional conductors and participated in several masterclasses with high profile cellists such as Hannah Roberts and David Waterman. She is also a talented orchestrator and arranger, having orchestrated for the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, and even written arrangements for Pixie Lott.

Outside of Music, Jaclyn loves to spend her free time bread-baking, getting lost in the great outdoors, and exploring an endless repertory of dad jokes.
